What the CERTEFL Fee Covers

By enrolling in CERTEFL, students gain access to a complete online teacher training programme designed to support them in becoming confident English language teachers.

The course includes:

• Quality teacher training
• Online study materials
• A flexible, self-paced learning structure
• Six core modules covering key areas of English language teaching
• Preparation for teaching in real classroom and online contexts

Student Scholarship Gratuity

DOMAX offers a Student Scholarship Gratuity for eligible applicants enrolling in the CERTEFL programme.

This initiative supports young people and students who want to gain the skills and qualification needed to pursue a career in English language teaching.

Eligible applicants may qualify for a full scholarship fee.

Who may apply?

Applicants may be eligible if they meet at least one of the following criteria:

• They are under 21 years of age at the time of application; or
• They are currently enrolled in a recognised educational institution, including:
  • A-Level / Sixth Form institutions
  • Post-secondary or vocational colleges
  • Universities or other higher education institutions

Applicants must also meet the standard CERTEFL entry requirements, including appropriate academic qualifications and English language proficiency at C2 level or higher.

How to apply for the Student Scholarship Gratuity

To apply, send an email to info@domaxltd.org with:

• A copy of your ID showing your date of birth, if applying as an under-21 applicant;
• Proof of current student status, where applicable;
• A short expression of interest in the CERTEFL Student Scholarship Gratuity.

Applicants will also be asked to complete the CERTEFL course application form.

Scholarship applications are subject to eligibility checks and confirmation by DOMAX.

Special Offer for ELT Teachers in Maltese Language Schools

DOMAX offers a special CERTEFL fee for eligible ELT teachers currently working in Maltese language schools.

Applicants may be asked to provide evidence of current employment with a Maltese language school.

This offer is subject to eligibility, availability and confirmation by DOMAX.

Entry Requirements

Applicants for CERTEFL must:

• Be at least 18 years of age;
• Have evidence of appropriate qualifications allowing entry into higher education, such as a Leaving School Certificate, A-Level passes or equivalent qualifications;
• Demonstrate excellent competence in spoken and written English;
• Hold recognised English language proficiency at CEFR C2 level if English is not their first language.

All applicants are assessed equally as part of the application process.
