The ESOL International qualifications and training are delivered over 1,000 approved centres in Europe and have an ever-expanding international presence.
Awarding for over 40 years DOMAX offers high-quality, robust, and regulated qualifications and assessments and has consolidated a number of international partnerships in the field of ELT and
assessment.

DOMAX administers English Qualifications in three main suites of exams:

● ESOL International Examinations for Adults (levels A1-C2)
● ESOL International Examinations for Young Learners: Junior test of English Competence, JTEC, for Juniors ages 12 plus (levels A1 – B2)
● ESOL International Examinations for Young Learners: Junior Academy Examinations for learners ages 5 plus

All suites of exams offer standardised tests of English language proficiency for non-native English language speakers wishing to obtain accreditation of their level of English.
DOMAX certifies English language skills in accordance with the levels of competence established in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) of the Council of Europe.
ESOL International qualifications focus on both productive and receptive skills and are founded on a communicative testing method which aims at giving an accurate picture of a candidate’s communicative ability at a specific CEFR level. ESOL International qualifications cover five modes Reading, Writing,
Listening & Speaking which are tested comprehensively. Use of English is also assessed in ESOL International exams starting at CEFR level A1.
Discipline in the administration and distribution of the examinations is guaranteed by the QAC (Quality Assurance Committee), which carries out regular training and certification of Examination staff and assessors.
As proposed in the Council of Europe’s Manual Relating Language Examination to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) the ESOL International qualifications provide a framework within which the learner can set goals and work towards achieving them via a structured qualification pathway.
